RECENT EVENTS
I was accorded with an award for "Excellence in Health Reporting" on April 11, 2008 by HEAL on the occasion of 1st National Health Writers & Communicators Convention held in New Delhi, India. The Honourable Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare of India Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss handed over the award.

I attended 5th World Congress of the World Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (WSPID) at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand from 15 – 18 November 2007. In conjunction with the WSPID congress, I also attended an Asia Pacific Media Event there. |
In July 2007, I attended 4th International Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention of International AIDS Society (IAS) held in Sydney, Australia. Visit conference site here.
I had been selected for a Journalist to Journalist HIV/AIDS Fellowship Training offered by the National Press Foundation, USA prior to the IAS Conference. Read fellowship blog page.
In May 2007, I attended "Liver Symposium 2007: Liver Transplantation in the 21st Century", held in at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore which was organized by Asian Centre for Liver Disease & Transplantation
In March 2007, I attended WHO Pneumococcal and Hib Surveillance Investigators Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand.
The meeting was held at Nai Lert Part Hotel, Bangkok.
